How Mega Millions works
Draws are on Tuesday and Friday nights at 11 Eastern. Since April 2025 every play costs 5 dollars and carries an automatic multiplier between 2 and 10 on non jackpot prizes, replacing the old optional Megaplier. The multiplier changes payouts, never the odds above.
