How the UK Lotto draw works
Draws are on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8. The 1 to 59 pool dates from the 2015 change, up from 49. The jackpot can roll over a maximum of five consecutive draws, after which a Must Be Won draw is held: if nobody matches all six, the jackpot rolls down and boosts every lower cash tier, which makes Must Be Won nights the best value draws in the game.
